In 1992 Olga Borodina made her highly acclaimed European debut in London at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, sharing the stage with Placido Domingo in Samson and Delilah. These performances launched her international career and she has since performed regularly at all major opera houses around the world.

This season will see her back with Placido Domingo in Adriana Lecouvreur at the Metropolitan Opera. Highlights of the 08/09 concert season will see her perform in the Verdi Requiem with Ricardo Muti and the Orchestra National de France in Paris and Damnation de Faust in Vienna and Madrid, a well as recitals in Lisbon and Milan.

Olga Borodina was awarded People's Artist of Russia in 2002, and is the recipient of the State Prize of Russia 2007, the highest allocate in Russia.
