Maxim Vengerov features in Classic FM’s ’25 greatest violinists of all time’

“Few violinists appear so effortless in performance than Russian Maxim Vengerov, another prodigy made good. Oh, and he’s the first musician to be made an International Goodwill Ambassador by UNICEF.”

Olga Borodina in farewell concert for Daniele Gatti w/ O.N.F

OB, DG & ONFThe 9th June was a busy day for NFBM Ltd! Whilst Maxim Vengerov was in concert at the Istanbul Music Festival, mezzo soprano Olga Borodina was performing in Paris at the Maison de la radio with the Orchestre National de France & Daniele Gatti.

Chosen to perform at the farewell concert by the maestro himself, Ms Borodina performed Prokofiev’s Alexandre Nevsky cantata.

The performance was broadcast live on France Musique and Arte Concert and is still available to watch on ARTE Concert’s website (click here). Catch Olga’s performance from 1:08:25!

Maxim Vengerov @ Istanbul Music Festival w/ Menuhin Academy Soloists

M.A.S Saanen church July '15 (c) M BeevorAfter two excellent concerts at the Sheldonian Theatre Oxford & Barbican Centre London with the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, Maxim Vengerov travelled to Istanbul with the Menuhin Academy Soloists of the International Menuhin Music Academy – IMMA for the 44th Istanbul Muzik Festivali.

Together they performed a program of Bach, Mozart and Tchaikovsky at the Yehudi Menuhin centenary concert to a sold out Lutfi Kirdar Center.

4th Maxim Vengerov Festival 2016, Tokyo

13239970_1103319596358031_5117891130691113167_nThe middle of May saw Maxim return to Tokyo for the 4th annual Maxim Vengerov Festival organised by Flagship Japan.

The festival opened with a special gala concert in aid of Fukushima at Kioi Hall and other festival highlights included:
